Fergal O'Leary

Fergal has almost twenty years experience in fixed income markets, most recently at Citigroup where he was employed as director with responsibility for all fixed income product distribution coverage for the Irish market providing solutions on Interest Rate, Credit and Regulatory Capital transactions. Prior to Citi, Fergal worked for Lehman Brothers and ABN Amro in similar fixed income product distribution roles.

Fergal holds an M.Sc. in Investment & Treasury from Dublin City University and a B.A. (Hons) degree in Economics from University College Dublin.

Jim Ryan

Jim has twenty years experience in fixed income markets, initially working in fund management at Hibernian Investment Managers between 1990 and 1995, before joining Riada Stockbrokers (later to become ABN AMRO Stockbrokers) where he traded Irish government bonds. He moved to Amsterdam in 1998 and later to London where he had various responsibilities for bond trading across European Sovereign, Sub sovereign and Agency bond markets.

He left ABN in 2001 and worked at Depfa Bank in Dublin until 2008 heading up balance sheet management with responsibility for public sector lending and the management of a €250bn portfolio of public sector assets in Dublin, Frankfurt, New York and Tokyo.

Jim qualified as a chartered accountant in 1990 whilst working at KPMG in Dublin having previously graduated from University College Dublin in 1986 with a B.Comm Accounting.

Michael Cummins

Michael has almost 10 years experience in fixed income markets, most recently as a Managing director in Depfa Bank where he held various roles in Portfolio management, Origination and Credit Solutions over a 9 year period.  Michael has worked on many of the largest Public Sector finance transactions globally over the last 5 years while also overseeing the management of a €150bn portfolio of public sector assets. He also played a key part in the establishment and management of a €50bn Covered Bond platform (DEPFA ACS) . He brings valuable market, regulatory, accounting, and structuring experience to the Glas Securities team.

Michael holds a B.Comm International degree from University College Dublin.
