Our Firm
Glas Securities is a financial services company focused exclusively on fixed income markets serving institutional investors, corporate clients and financial institutions. The Firm is regulated by the Financial Regulator in Ireland under S.I. 60 of 2007, European Communities (Markets in Financial Instruments) Regulations 2007 since October 2009 (click on the link at the bottom of the page for more information).
It was founded by Jim Ryan and Fergal O'Leary who have each approximately 20 years of experience in global fixed income markets and has recently added Michael Cummins to the executive team. Based in Ireland, Glas Securities focuses on distribution, client advice and solutions with a particular focus on Irish government bonds and Irish investment grade debt. The company has vast experience in fixed income interest rate, credit and structured markets.
As an independent and relationship-driven business, we take no proprietary risk and are transparent at every level. Our knowledgeable team can provide unbiased advice and superior service that puts clients' needs first. Glas Securities is committed to providing the highest quality of service based on a deep understanding of their needs, delivering independent ideas and propositions and offering best in class execution. Trade settlement has been outsourced to Pershing Securities International Limited (PSIL) under a Model B Agreement.
